I am a Seattle-based photographer specializing in wedding and personal-portrait photography. I've been passionate about photography since my early teens and shot my first professional session at age 17. For the past eight years, I have photographed high school seniors, engagements, weddings, families and children.
I have been blessed by the photography community in Seattle, and have learned much from other photographers' patient guidance — something for which I am profoundly grateful. My work now sells itself. Steady assignments come via word of mouth referrals and www.kristinboyett.com.
Clients enjoy my personable approach to photography; Kristin Boyett Photography's business model is rooted in relationships. I love people and personal, intentional interactions. Because of this, photoshoots are less of a high-strung chore and have more of a relaxed atmosphere, allowing the candid capture of who you are. That way, working together is much more than merely a mechanical process of clicking the shutter. A photographer should truly love what they do behind the lens, in all aspects — and I believe this passion is obvious in my work.
What you won’t get are lifeless, formulaic, cookie-cutter photos sometimes found in portrait photography.
What you will get are rich and varied images that capture your unique personality — the genuine, authentic essence of who and what you are. Your photos should not look like everyone else's, and with my shooting aesthetic — coupled with my fresh perspective on the sometimes ordinary — your photos will show the real you, with style.
