From my first contact with Knaid, to the meeting with her and Peter over Mexican food, to spending their wedding day with them, there was an instant connection. I know, I know....photographers say that ALL the time. It's just thrown out there these days as if each interaction with a client radically changes every photographer's life. Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say that. But I will say this -- there is something super special when a client contacts you and truly understands the value of the art you create. When they say they will do what it takes to not settle for inexperienced or uninspired photography even when they're on a tight budget. And when in the end they would have me, over hundreds of other talented photographers in this city, to capture each moment of their wedding day. Peter and Knaid are one of those couples that has blessed me in this way, and for that I'm truly grateful. These two are so in love, it was so easy to photograph them -- and such a joy too! I loved that Knaid chose a tea-length wedding dress (which she ROCKED with amazing heels!), that the guys opted for a more casual look with suspenders that matched the girls' spunky dresses, and even more that by the time the reception rolled around they 100% winged it. Genuine is the best way to describe this couple, and this day. I'm so glad I got to be a part of it! By the end, I'm pretty sure I made some new and awesome friends. :)
Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson!
