Britten & Christina | Seattle Wedding Photographer

Better late than never in blogging a beautiful wedding! One year ago today my friends Britten & Christina were married. Happy Anniversary!

It was a beautiful sunny late summer day for this wedding. After getting ready at Christina's parents' house we made our way down to Shilshole Bay for a precious first look between the bride and groom. I love that their first connection of the day was a huge bear hug Christina gave Britten from behind. Their relationship is totally built on the friendship that's so evident in their interactions. Portraits continued at Golden Gardens with their bridal party, and we headed back for the wedding and reception at Ballard Bay Club. What a gorgeous venue --complete with a stunning view of the Olympics and Puget Sound!

After a delicious dinner and some funny and touching toasts, the party continued with a photobooth and dancing through the night. It was so fun to capture this day and celebrate with friends at the same time. Christina and I had been in community group for over three years, and been through a lot of hard life situations together; it was such an honor to be at her wedding day, marring a man who wholly loves Jesus and is fully committed to her. What a beautiful thing.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Enkelis. I love you guys!
